Bitcoin Exchanges; Buy your Bitcoins!

Are you a bitcoin newbie? No problem! You can buy some bitcoins at one of the three major exchanges, which are Mt. Gox, BTC-e, and Vircurex! I'll give you a list of the pros and cons of each right here in this blog post!

Mt. Gox (mtgox.com) is secure and safe, but charges a 0.6% fee on all successful trades and only trades with some national currencies and Bitcoin.  It is the most reputable of all the bitcoin exchanges but lacks support for other currencies.

BTC-e (btc-e.com) supports multiple currency trading, such as Bitcoin and US Dollar, Euro, and Russian Ruble, as well Litecoins and Namecoins, which are two alternative cryptocurrencies.

Vircurex (vircurex.com) supports almost all alternate cryptocurrencies for trading, except for the newest, but you only can deposit in the form of Euros or US Dollars.  If you use the link from this page, you can receive a discount on trading fees!

Each of the exchanges has their own advantages and disadvantages, it's up to you to choose!
